DEMOCRACY TERRIFIED WARRIORS

J. A. Morasán *

The predators of the humanity are trembling and his worry increase to face the historical process - political democratization unleashed in the north of Africa, with Tunisia and Egypt to the head and his expansion to neighboring countries up to the Middle East.

"And the next is ... The schemes affected are different and distant. The Economist magazine has attempted to objectify the vulnerability of various dictatorships. I called the index of the pitching shoes. The vulnerability is greatest revolution in
Yemen, with 85% probability. We continue to Libya, Egypt, Syria and Iraq, over 60%, and then all above 50%: Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia and Morocco ". (Francisco G. Basterra, 19/02 / 2011. Elpais.com).

In a short essay I wrote earlier, taking notice of Google, on the subject how to improve the world, proposed: Contrary to what some political leaders raised to "refound capitalism" would be more appropriate to give effect to the ethical and political philosophy invented by the Greeks, whose design and development took more than a century and a half (620 to 593 BC), to replace barbarism to civilization. The fundamental laws of Draco and Solon 1 / evolved, culminating in what is now known as democracy, a concept widely and often peaked at different times and places, to the extent that during the "Cold War there was talk of" democracy capitalist "and" socialist democracy "(?) to be invoked to justify actions that have nothing to do with its meaning, so it is a case in a brief reminder.

What is Democracy? "Literally means people's power, but from the philosophical point of view that democracy is people's power, is a socio-political and economic system of free and equal, not only free and equal before the law, but in social relations in everyday life. Democracy in view of the world leads us to one of the most sublime ideal man tries to consolidate in history: the ideal of symmetry, ie the ideal of equality and non-arbitrariness. Genuinely democratic society should be symmetrical and not arbitrary. The history of mankind is full of struggles to achieve that goal. Some progress has been made but a long way to go (even in Europe and the U.S.). In other words, missing new revolutions, new changes, so you can realize the ideal of a just society composed of free and equal. Under present conditions, democracy has meant a historic step, but we are still a number of limitations of an ideological, political, economic, cultural, technical and psychological, that can be operated institutions that guarantee the exercise of democracy participatory. Made various efforts in this regard and in doing so we are, because democracy is not only choice but also participation. (Gramajo and Emmanuel Biset. Monografias.com).

"How basic rules of democracy are fulfilled: a) the balance and separation of powers between the branches of government: legislative, executive and judicial branches, b) a relative majority, which can be defined by a single vote of difference, without involving the disqualification or exclusion of the counterparty; c) direct universal suffrage under transparent electoral procedures; d) the alternation in power, and e) the existence and functioning of non-politicized institutions to ensure the active participation of citizens in bodies such as the referendum, the plebiscite and the referendum for approval or annulment of laws, the repeal of the legislative mandate, or presidential, if applicable, the creation, reform or composition of other institutions in fulfillment of its quality
sovereign." (Neither neoliberalism nor more death "just revolution". J.A.Morasan).

As I have said, ideology and religion are totally incompatible with the affairs of state, having been tried from time immemorial, which mixed with politics turn out to be an explosive cocktail, just remember the trial and crucifixion of Jesus, fundamentalism, the crusades until the "war of civilizations", because of endless and bloody wars, the product of divisiveness created by politicians, unscrupulous rulers and power elites to perpetuate confrontation between peoples and nations, depending on their personal interests, damaging mainly people more vulnerable.

The reactions of governments now facing public anger, proves once again his obsessive nature and his lack of scruples in blood and fire to eliminate opponents, deepening the practices of terror that have been the traditional recourse to remain in power .

The subsequent depletion of proven schemes throughout history, far from satisfying the aspirations of the people have worsened living conditions for at least two thirds of the global population, confirm the validity of my proposal for universal democracy, (starting with the United Nations Organization), and whose mere proclamation of the oppressed, has jeopardized the tyrants and now also the warlords, with the clear evidence that under this scheme soon there will be no "enemies" those who fight or who sell their machinery of death.
