WINDS OF THE REVOLUTION WILL EXPAND TO THE WEST.

"When you see your neighbor shave,
put your chin to soak. "(Anonymous)

The Spanish people have decided to finally take the bull by the horns and launched to the Puerta del Sol for expressing dissatisfaction with the political class, the greed of the financial sector in collusion with governments, rising unemployment and demand a new constitution. From here radiate the light of the reality of surviving most of the people on this side of the planet, while hypocritically hidden or distorted by the leaders and the media to serve the status quo, presenting a different profile to the rest of world.

The events and process in the Arab world, despite the bloody repression, lead to the removal and / or democratization of these regimes, while promoting the acceleration of social movements in the Western Hemisphere In this regard I would like to share some information that shows quite clearly the causes and objectives of these surveys

"The quiet revolution. Recently we have been surprised by the events of Tunisia have led to the escape of the tyrant Ben Ali, as a Democrat to the West until the day before the IMF and exemplary student. Yet another "revolution" taking place from two years ago has been conveniently silenced by the media to serve the European plutocrats. It has happened in the very Europe (in the geopolitical sense) in a democratic country with probably the world's oldest, dating back to AD 930, and ranked first in the report of the UN Human Development Index 2007/2008. Guess what country is it? I am sure that most have no idea as I had not until I heard by chance (despite having been there in 2009 and 2010). This is Iceland, where he became a government to resign completely, major banks were nationalized, it was decided not to pay the debt that they have created in Britain and the Netherlands because of their heinous financial policy and just created an assembly popular to rewrite its constitution. And all this in a peaceful manner: a pan shot, screaming and accurate release of eggs. This has been a revolution against the neoliberal political and financial power that has led to the current crisis. That is why have not released just two years these events have been reported or frivolously and glancing: What if the rest of Europeans (and U.S., add me), take example? And while we confirm once again if it was still unclear, who are serving the media and how we restrict the right to information in the global plutocracy of Metro SA (Table top Posted on January 23, 2011, by nosinmibici. Those of us interested in knowing, analyzing and sharing our perception of world events and prospects, we are clear that economic injustice, social and disrespect for the fundamental rights of mankind, not only flourish in the so-called "third world" but also, and quite deep in the "developed countries". To not go very far, here are some concepts extracted from different sources on this topic:

"Capitalism USA: Famine, extreme poverty in the empire. Here millions are hungry. We are not talking about Haiti, or Africa, or Asia, or the favelas of South America, but the extraordinary fact that in the richest country in the world with the most productive agricultural sector, millions suffer from what is called "insecurity food ", or what a Christian is translated as not knowing where the next meal will come." Study conducted by Dave Gilson and Carolyn Perot: "Is inequality, stupid: 10 images that explain everything that is wrong in America." (Www.sinpermiso.info).

"Figure 1: the volume of the wealth of archiricos. A huge portion of economic growth in the last 30 years has gone to the hundredth part situated at the apex (top) of one percent of the richest, now have, on average, $ 27 million per family. While the average income of 90% are located in the base is $ 31,244.

Figure 2: The richest 10% control 2 / 3 of U.S. equity: NB) Data for 2007-the most common, do not yet reflect the impact of the housing bust.
In 2007, 6% of Americans who were at the base of the pyramid had 65% of their net worth tied to your home. 1% at the top, by contrast, only 10%. No doubt that the housing slump has contributed to increase the share of the total equity held by the archiricos.

Figure 3: the winner takes all. 1% archiricos I was done with the lion's share of the profits of the last three decades.

Figure 4: A distribution more uneven and inequitable than people think. A professor of Business School of Harvard University recently surveyed more than 5,000 Americans about their perceptions regarding the distribution of wealth in the U.S.. The vast majority thought it was more balanced than it really is. When asked about his ideal distribution of wealth, 92% chose an even more equitable distribution guidelines.

To this we must add the disastrous effects caused by the financial and housing crisis that has left home without work and millions of workers, without which the government has provided effective assistance, a fact which contrasts with the billionaire bailout the bankers - cause of the crisis-using the resources of the state, or taxpayers.

This crisis also caused the poverty rate reached the figure of 14.3%. This means that 43.6 million people are now poor (and poverty). (Http://www.bbc.co.uk/mundo/internacional/2010/09/100916).

If the effect of the crisis and unemployment persist, while politicians are determined to keep intact the structures of power and unjust system of distribution of wealth, which only serves their interests and those of its sponsors, will be a matter of time the winds of revolution acquire category hurricane on the "first world", including the first power, now sadly in decline, but remain confident that Mr. Obama has wisely been sent to redirect the ship to new and better horizons .
